TWILIGHT AT THE TROUT 

The Trout Gallery is now open late on select Thursdays during the Dickinson College academic year.  Join us from 4-8pm for an evening visit, exhibition tours with student educators and staff or a special event.  Events will be posted at least one month before occurring.

January 23  

7:00pm Highlights Tour of Abstract Traditions: Postwar Japanese Prints

 

January 30

6-8pm Live Music and Reception: Help us kick off our spring semester of exhibitions and events with live music by Acoustic Stew, a reception, art-making and informal student art chats.  Food and music will be in the Weiss lobby, and in the gallery look for student interpreters with stickers that read ASK ME to learn more our current exhibitions.  

 

*For Dickinson students interested in our Museum Ambassador program, an informational meeting will be held at 5:00pm in the Mumper Stuart Education Center, Weiss basement.

 

February 6th

4-8pm Kid's Night at The Trout GalleryDrop by anytime between 4 and 8pm for artmaking, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and snack bar.

6pm Kid's Tour 9-13 years old: Mythology: Artful Stories From Around The World

7:00 pm Meet the Curator: Abbie Cottle, curator of Imagining the DivineReligious Mythology and Art, will pull back the curtain to discuss how the exhibition came to be and the challenges she faced along the way
