Museum Ambassadors

Trout Gallery Museum Ambassadors provide a conduit between museum exhibitions and programs and the larger Dickinson and Carlisle Community.   They attend bi-monthly meetings (Thursdays 12-1:15PM) to learn about museum operations, programs and new exhibitions,  and help the museum promote the museum to a broader audience.  Ambassadors plan the yearly Trout Gala, a student event celebrating the achievements of student contributors to the museum.  Ambassadors receive Trout Fan benefits as well as docent training, and a budget to plan student-centered Gallery events. Experience as a Museum Ambassador provides excellent background experience for paid and internship positions at The Trout Gallery.  1-2 hours per week. Requires a one-semester commitment. [Maximum 25]

The Trout Gallery/ Museum Ambassador Application Instructions: Museum Ambassador applications for Spring 2019 are currently being accepted.  The first Museum Ambassador Meeting for Spring is February 7, 2019.
