In General

  • The museum's photographs of objects included in this website are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or used without written permission, except for the limited non-commercial, educational, and personal use, or fair use as defined in the U.S. copyright laws.
  • The objects themselves may also be protected by copyright, trademark, rights of privacy/publicity, or related interests owned by the artist, a licensing agency, or one or more third parties.
  • Permission for reproduction granted by the museum relates only to the rights held by the museum.
  • Those interested in reproducing an image from this site are solely responsible for ascertaining whether any additional permissions are required and for acquiring those permissions independent of the museum.
