Join The Trout Gallery and The Dickinson College farm in a special opening reception for two concurrent exhibitions: Bronze and Robert Rauschenberg: Surface Series. The evening will feature free Dickinson Farm pizza, drinks, live music, and art chats by Dickinson students in The Gallery.
Helen Hsu: Rauschenberg's Surface Series

Associate Curator Helen Hsu of The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation will deliver a lecture on Rauschenberg's Surface Series, currently on view at The Trout Gallery. Hsu has conducted extensive research on the series, including a comprehensive investigation of the media sources Rauschenberg used when creating the works. Her analysis reveals the complex and powerful ways that Rauschenberg delivers a critique of news media by using its most persuasive visual strategies.

The Trout Gallery, Weiss Center for the Arts
Emeritus Professor of Art Ward Davenny presents Noise, an exhibition of recent drawings, prints, paintings, and photographs. This exhibit includes originally composed music designed to accompany the works.
